By all accounts, the Westmount Father and Son Buffalo Shabbaton was a huge success. Following is the report provided by our fearless youth leader, Oren Dishy.
“Last weekend 50 fathers and sons from Westmount Shul spent a Shabbos weekend in Buffalo. It was an amazing trip with a great group of fun, cool and easy-going guys (both the fathers and the sons). We spent real quality time with our sons and with each other. Highlights included Shabbos davening and father and son learning, a hilarious game of Jewish Family Feud, Pitstburg beats the Sabres 5-2, a rainy tailgate party with burgers, chili and dogs outside Ralph Wilson Stadium, The Bills Win!!!, Havdala in the hotel lobby, endless trips to Tops, and the room 221 mayhem.
The weekend really helped to create a great “chevrah” amongst the Westmount guys. Thanks to everyone!”
