Father/Son Minyan
Last Shabbos morning, the new father/son minyan program got off to a great start. It was profoundly moving to look into Rooms 213 and 214 and see over 40 fathers and sons hunched over the desks learning with each other. The sounds of Torah signified the ontinuation of the tradition of fathers and sons learning together that goes back to Har Sinai. [...]
Sgt. Benjamin Anthony
This past Shabbos, Sergeant Benjamin Anthony, a reservist with the IDF, spoke very movingly about life in the IDF and the importance of connecting Jews in Israel and outside of Israel. By all accounts, his presentations were exceptional. Special thanks to the Moses family for sponsoring his visit. Special Yasher Koach to all those who came out on [...]
Grand Siyum

BELZERS @ WESTMOUNT
Wow! How do you describe last week’s Shabbaton? It’s easy to describe what we did. It’s very hard to describe what we felt. The deep love and respect for each other. The surprise at seeing how normal our guests were. The feeling of achdus. The feeling of pride and surprise when they said over and over again that we gave THEM strength! And on [...]
Shlomo Horowitz Shabbaton

Highlights were Oneg Shabbos to over 100 people, Shabbos lunch to over 40 young boys at the brave Pillemers and a Melave Malka (including Shlomo’s guitar virtuosity) to 36 yo [...]
