Description: This course is an excellent, thorough overview of the entire second book of the Torah - Shemos - spanning the period from Jewish people's exile in Egypt until their redemption with the building of the Mishkan . It provides the student with all the major themes of the Sefer, important characters, dates, and messages. Much stress is placed on how the Parshiyos parallel the 4 expressions of redemption, and how all the Jewish holidays are rooted in the events of this Sefer. This class is ideal for the novice who wants to absorb the maximum amount of information in the shortest amount of time.
