Singing, stories and a wholesome playtime on Saturday mornings, while the parents get to join a class, or a kiddush. Rebbetzin Michalowicz and Rebbetzin Farkas and our youth volunteers make your childrens’ mornings really great this Shabbos.
- There’s a Moms and Tots circle in the Lounge room at 11:30 am;
- A Kids stories and play program in the play room at 10:30 am;
- A Youth program (7-12 years) in the Rabbi’s classroom at 10:30 am;
- A Father and Son Shabbos minyan in the Moriah Room at 9:45 am.

About the Instructors:
Rebbetzin Gaela Leah is a professional educator and a dynamic speaker beloved by a great number of women and couples and men in the Jewish Communities of Thornhill and Toronto. Her weekly discussion groups and Torah classes are held in the inviting, non-judgmental environment of her many friends’ homes in Thornhill. Gaela Leah and Rabbi Yossi Michalowicz have 9 children and live in Thornhill’s Jewish community.
Rebbetzin Farkas has a degree in Biology, but has been pursuing her passion of working for the Jewish people for the last 10 years alongside her husband Rabbi Erez Farkas. She is working with Rebbetzin Michalowicz to reach out to women in the Jewish community, Jane builds up social media presence for the Shul, creates a network of young women in the neighborhood, and reaches out to the younger people in the Indian Sfardi com
munity, among other things. Jane and Erez have 4 children and live in Thornhill’s Jewish community.
The youth volunteers are high-school aged or older youth who have been a part of Westmount Shul with their families for many years. They read out loud to the younger kids and lead games on Saturday mornings and help organize special programs for Jewish holidays.
