Everyone must be able to adjust expectations while we are still in the
midst of a pandemic. People are required to adjust wherever they go – even for entering a place for a short time…all the more so if we are going to a Shul for a longer period of time.
WE WILL SPARE NO EFFORT IN ENABLING EVERY MEMBER TO
PARTICIPATE IN SERVICES THIS YEAR, AND WILL MAKE ADJUSTMENTS WHEN NECESSARY AND POSSIBLE.
At this point, we can only offer services for members in good standing for the new year, and their nuclear families who are living with them. As much as we would like to, we will not be able to have non-member family / guests. We can put them on a waiting list, and allow them to register if there is space available.
We are working on using an additional location in order to allow every member the opportunity to participate in the environment they are most comfortable in.
We therefore are offering you the following options:
DUE TO COVID 19 – ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST COME
AT THE START OF THE SERVICE YOU ARE CHOOSING
• Option #1: Regular full services in the main Shul for men & women. All Holiday prayers will be identical to what we have had over the years. Lots of singing, Shofar blowing, Yizkor, Kol Nidrei, Neilah & Rabbi’s speech. Do to the length of the service, participants will be provided with a “COVID – Safe Boxed Kiddush” on Rosh Hashana.
Attendance will be limited to 50 people.
• Option #2: Shorter Services at an alternative site TBD (very near the shul) for men & women. It will be a full service with minimal singing and nearly all of the Piyutim being skipped. Shofar blowing, Yizkor, Kol Nidrei, Neilah, and a brief Dvar Torah. Due to the shorter length and earlier ending time, there will be no Kiddush on Rosh Hashana at this
service.
Attendance will be limited to 50 people.
• Option #3: The Sfardi minyan will have their regular services for men & women. Priority will be given to families of those who participate all year and during Selichot.
Attendance will be limited to 25 people.
• Option #4: At an alternative site TBD. For those whose priority is to hear Shofar, Kol Nidrei , Yizkor , and the Rebbetzin’s talks. Attendance will be limited to 50 people. THIS OPTION WILL HAVE A NEILAH AT A 3rd ALTERNATIVE SITE TBD.
• Option #5A: For those of you who will not be able to be in Shul, we will offer to have people come to your home to blow Shofar on the second day of Rosh Hashana sometime between 2:00 – 6:00 PM.
We hope to be able to reach out to 50 people who live within walking distance of the Shul.
• Option #5B: will offer a special protected Yom Kippur Yizkor service ONLY for those who are immune compromised or who live with people like that.
Attendance will be limited to 40 people.

• PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR CHOICES CAREFULLY & KEEP TO THE SAME OPTION # THROUGHOUT. ( Changing option# will be automatically deleted by the system, and you will lose your registration completely.)
• Each family must have arranged membership renewal & received confirmation with the office, before signing up. (Otherwise, your registration will be deleted.)
• Each family member must be signed in separately with their name signed in. Each family member can individually sign up for a different option than other family members.
• As our long standing policy, membership includes tickets to services for a married couple or single adult and unmarried children ages 13 – 24. any other family
members are classified as “guests.”
• DO NOT REGISTER ANYONE FOR A PROGRAM UNLESS YOU ARE CERTAIN THAT YOU WILL ATTEND THAT PROGRAM ON TIME.
• Due to the incredible logistic challenges, the deadline for all registrations must be one month before Rosh Hashana – August 21 @ 9:00 am. You can not change your choices after that time. We regrettably can not make exceptions.
• Obviously, the situation is fluid, and even the best of plans may have to suddenly change for the better or worse – we will obviously make changes if the situation warrants it.
• The Rabbi spoke about these plans, clarifying what the options are and why these decisions were made during a ZOOM meeting which was held on Sunday Aug. 2 @ 8:00 pm — leaving you ample time before making your final decision.
