For those of us, who are not able to, or have chosen not to attend services, we have done our best to provide assistance in the form of ZOOM classes, delivery of books, training volunteers for Shofar blowing.
We prepared the shul for over 200 people to attend in person. This was as many people as was possible even after renting additional space. We have been running services this way for the last two months, and expect that our experience will allow the shul to continue to be open safely over the high holidays.
Our amazing Rosha Hashana coronation this Shabbos included amazing davening, shofros and singing and, even more safety features – 5 different services area, all spread out seating for social distancing. Limiting attendance to 200 regular congregants – all committed to keeping in line with the safety policy.
Our Shabbos-approved Thermometers were at each door, and a nurse wasscreening every individual at the main entrance. Volunteer Gabais made sure of masks wearing and sanitizing of tables and that plexiglass partitions were all used effectively.
No matter who you are and where you were this Rosh Hashanah, we all coronated the Almighty as one this Shabbos!
